Breaks my heart

The last couple of years has been really overwhelming in losing friends and family members, due to Cancer, Covid & unexpectedly.  I can't explain the way I am feeling this.  But, it is how I feel.  I know we are not promised tomorrow.

I found out today that an acquaintance of mine from high school passed away last night.  When I found out I was in shock.  He was older than me,  but we talked in passing and I think we had classes together.  Being a freshman, in my opinion he was one of the big men on campus.

Danny, you will surely be missed.

I just want to say, I love you, guys!  If you don't want to say it back, I understand.

I know I always say, please pray for me and my family.   I would like for you to please pray for you friends & families that are going through some difficult times right now & in the future.

Out with 2022 & in with 2023

There has only been a small group of people that has known about 2022 and what all has happened with the family.   Well 2022 for me was a living heck.  The beginning of the year was good.  Then around May & June, everything began to change.  For starters Kaleb turned 16 & got his level 2 license.  Which was awesome.

Then is June it all started.  Heather- everyone knows has had 2 strokes.  Then in June, she had told one of her friends that we were not taking care of her needs.  That so called friend felt the need to call DSS.  And Heather was taken in to DSS protective custody.   But the problem was not us, it was that she didn't want to get it for herself.  She had become dependent on a couple of family members to help her out.  And when those family members, were not around, she chose not to help herself.   Which inturn, you can not make a grown up do something that they dont won't.   It was her choice not to take care of herself, eat or anything else.   All we could do was to suggest.  We had to go to several court dates & she is placed in an Assisted living facility in Roxboro,  NC.  That has lasted since August and currently she is still there.  With Heather where she is, she is suppose to be getting help.

During the whole 2022 year,  the whole family stayed well - no sickness.  Praise God.

I pray 2023 is going to be a great year.

Please continue to pray for me and my family.
